Our bid is in: NATO DIANA's autonomy challenge.

Most robots quit when the infrastructure does. We’ve spent the last stretch building ones that don’t — and this week, our bid went in for one of the hardest proving grounds there is.

UBR has submitted to NATO DIANA’s 2027 challenge on Multidomain Autonomy of Uncrewed Systems — the Defence Innovation Accelerator for the North Atlantic, NATO’s programme for the technology that matters most to transatlantic security.

We can’t share the proposal. We can share the shape of it:

• A coordination layer that holds a mixed force together — ground robots, drones, sensors, and the people working alongside them — when GNSS, comms and the cloud are denied.
• An autonomy brain on every node that senses, decides and acts entirely offline, on low-power hardware, with no link to lean on.
• All of it designed from the failure case backward: assume the network drops, assume GPS lies, assume no one can intervene — and stay useful anyway.

Same belief we started with, aimed where it matters most: contested, disconnected, no second chances.

Selection is months out. We’re not waiting on it to keep building.
